Problem.
Lauren K. Alleyne is an author and poet whose work has been widely published in journals and anthologies such as The Atlantic, Ms. Muse, Women’s Studies Quarterly, among others. Ms. Alleyne wanted her existing, outdated website redesigned before the release of her upcoming new book.
Solution.
We took the necessary and still-relevant information from her existing website and combined it with the new content she sent over and we came up with the site map and wireframes. Once we finalized the design and had her approval, we setup an email collection form on the website and advised her to offer a complimentary short poem to incentivize website visitors to leave their emails so she can reach a broader audience when she releases new books or has speaking engagements.
